Idemo U poznati Filic !
Mapo pozna Stifilic !

Let us learn about San Felice! : the first version of the heading into slav language comes from a small tourist guide of the villlage, while the second is given by my father.

The village of San Felice del Molise is one of the three villages where the slavic dialect of the emigrants who came from Balkans still remains. The installation of the emigrants in this village is dated from the year 1518. At the time, San Felice had been left initially after an earthquake in 1456 and after the plague in 1495. Thus this "targeted" colonization allowed the repopulation of uninhabited zones.

I found a quotation direct of the village of San Felice by some historians. That citation dates from the year 1568 and shows that the Republic of Ragusa was a known economic center of this small village.

Thank you to the mayor Mr Luigi Zara of San Felice, and to Angelo Cianfrani (vice-president FEAM) for this information.
