The village of San Felice, located in the area of Molise at the southern
limit of the Abruzzi, is in fact, part of the province of Campobasso. San Felice
is less than 20 kilometers from the Adriatic Sea (as the bird flies).
The boundary between the Abruzzi and Molise is drawn by
the Trigno river which runs within 8 kilometers of San Felice. This
village is located on a hill at an altitude of 546 meters, which enables
it to have not only superb views but also,
on a clear day, a view of the Adriatic Sea and the Trimiti
islands. It is a small commune of approximately 800 inhabitants.
