I took the majority of the photographs presented. However certain images come from the tourist guide "I paesi slavi del Molise" and from the almanac of Molise .

It smallest of the three villages, is located at the side of a hill of 508 meters altitude. The church of the village is dedicated to Saint-Lucy and the many stone-built houses give Montemitro a completely typical character. Let us mention the existence in this village of the cultural organizationof Nas Selo (edition of a book of poems in Slavic language). The Slavic installation is dated from the year 1508 (1518?).
